abstract = "As a part of driver assistance system, head-up display system can improve the performance and safety of driving activity. Questionnaires are conducted to understand the drivers{\textquoteright} degree of attention on various driving information and to extract key parameters that affect the driving behaviour. The workflow and architecture of the head-up display system based on safety control are estimated. In the system, smart terminal plays an important role, which can help lower the expense of the hardware and enrich the information sources. Interface design of the HUD system for the road segment and intersection is elaborated.",
