Abstract

A nonsingular cooperative guidance law is developed for multiple vehicles to strike a stationary target simultaneously under the seekers’ field-of-view (FOV) limited condition. First, a cooperative guidance law without considering the FOV limits is designed by augmenting the circular guidance law with a biased cooperative term based on the fixed-time convergent error dynamic. Then, a couple of auxiliary functions are inserted in the cooperative term to satisfy the FOV constraints and address the command singularity issue, respectively. With the developed guidance law, multiple vehicles can execute salvo attack missions with continuous guidance commands and without violating the FOV limits. Finally, the feasibility and performance of the cooperative guidance law are illustrated by numerical simulation.
