Abstract

We propose and experimentally investigate digital nonlinear compensation and interchannel cross talk suppression for 4×160.8Gb/s DWDM PDM-QPSK transmission with simplified heterodyne coherent detection. The BER has been improved from 5.7×10-3 to 3.5×10-4 after 1300km SMF-28.
