Moving target tracking processor in monopulse radar

Abstract

Aim To study the principle, scheme and realization of digital moving target tracking system. Methods The range error was got by analyzing target echo waveforms in moving target tracking system. The signal processor was made up of the data acquisition system of sum, differential and differential channels and multi- DSP system. The differential channel data acquisition system adopted the scheme of multi-high speed sample and hold, single analog switch and mid-speed A/D. The architecture of fixed and float point, master/slave multi-DSP pipeline processing was adopted in the DSP processing system. Results The structure was simple, the processing speed was high and reliability was good. Conclusion A real processing system in the paper is a high performance and low cost system.
