Abstract

A pressure control system consisting of a high speed switch valve and a container was studied. A model of the system considering heat transfer was established. By linearization at operating point, transfer function from the duty ratio of the pulse width modulation to the pressure in the container was concluded. It was a first order inertia link. Simulation results showed that the proposed model was correct.
