Abstract

The mover(diesel)-generator is the vital part in an electric transmission system, upon which an all-electric combat vehicle (AECV) is based. Proper modeling for the diesel and its control are the critical issues. In the paper, the diesel is identified by a RBF for modeling, and it is controlled by fuzzy controller a-long a combined locus of power versus the engine speed. Simulation results are finally shown and analyzed. The control mode and conclusions are meaningful in the design of electric transmission systems and AECV.
