Abstract

Shift quality is the key of automatic transmission research on mining vehicles due to the frequent gear-shifting. A comprehensive dynamic model is built to analyze shifting process of the transmission system. To calibrate and adjust the hydraulic pressure curves of clutches in the model, the experimental data acquired by road test are used in the strategy as the calibrating reference data. Then the dynamic characteristic of shift jerk and control strategy to realize gear selecting and pressure regulation are illustrated. The simulation results reveal the accuracy of the dynamic transmission system model and the feasibility of the control strategy.
