Abstract

A new method for analyzing twin-blade fixed-pitch propeller was proposed based on the theory of corrected blade foil and aerodynamic formula of 3-D wing. According to the characteristics of the brushless motor, the mathematic modeling of the electric propulsion system of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) has been set up. More than 17 sets of experimental data of various propulsion systems at zero forward speed were analyzed to verify correctness and relative precision, proving that it could ameliorate the primary parameter designing of UAV.
