Abstract
A mixed iterative method for 3-D frictional contact problems is proposed based on a combination of the iterative method and the fixed point method. This method overcomes the crux on the determination of the slipping angles at the contact nodes which is caused by the fact that the relative slipping may occur in any direction. This method is easy to be implemented without introducing any external variable. The numerical results suggest that this method is efficient and saves the computational amount.
