Abstract

The current research status of bioinformatics is given. It is also pointed out that bioinformatics can be widely applied to future military fields. To apply bioinformatics to military fields, the most important research contents should be: information analysis of large-scale gene sequencing, identification of new genes, prediction of protein structure, acquisition of digital genes, analysis of non-coding region, comparison of integrated gene groups, analysis of gene function expression chart, and so on.
