Abstract
A study was performed on the microwave-assisted synthesis of metal sulfides in ethylene glycol. Metal sulfides were synthesized through a one-step reaction between metal salts and thiourea under microwave irradiations. The products were characterized by powder x-ray diffraction (XRD), x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), transmission electron microscope (TEM) and electron diffraction (ED).
