Micro/nano-powder lubrication materials in remanufacturing engineering technologies

Abstract

With the development of the nano-technology, nano-surface engineering technology has been one of the key technologies of remanufacturing engineering. The tribological behaviors of nano-simple substance lubricant material, nano rare-earth compound lubricant material and micro/nano-mineral powder lubricant material are analyzed in the present article. The conclusion that each lubrication material has its own tribological behavior self is found. According different kinds micron/nano-powder lubricant materials' tribological behaviors, the mechanisms of antiwear and antifriction of the micron/nano-powder lubrication materials are summarized, which are the smooth or super smooth surface roll mechanism and the sediment film mechanism as well as the embedding and infiltrating tribochemistry reaction film mechanism.
