Abstract
Aluminium orthophosphate (AlPO4) nanocrystals were synthesized by a microemulsion-based solvothermal approach. The reaction temperature and concentration of reactants as well as the molar ratio of the two reactants have significant effects on the shape and size of the AlPO4 nanocrystals obtained. A possible formation mechanism for the AlPO4 nanocrystals with different shapes is discussed.
