Abstract

This paper presents a novel system for shock and vibration measurement, which consists of three main parts: acceleration sensor, analog signal processing and digital signal processing. It can measure and record the shock and vibration acceleration signal output from the acceleration sensor, and the data can be preserved in memory even system power is exhausted. After working process is completed, it can be taken out, and then the data can be transferred to computer through serial interface (SI). And also the post-processing software can display the signal waveform for further analyses. This system fits for the testing and measuring of vibrations and shocks in various situations. Finally after experiments, the feasibility and reliability of the system is validated.
