Abstract
In order to get more information of radar target in the frequency domain, a step LFM system is adopted to measure target characteristics according to the concept of UWB. Theory of the measurement is explained. The target echo of UWB signal is processed by wavelet transform and correlation, then the simulation result is obtained. Implementation of the system is given along with some technical difficulties that were overcome.
