Method of calculating trajectory by measuring acceleration along axes

Abstract

A method was put forward to calculate the trajectory based on 2-d differential equation by measuring the acceleration along axes, which could be used to predicting the trajectory of trajectory correction ammunition. The relation between measured acceleration of axes and the acceleration of the projectile relative to the earth was analyzed according to 2-d differential equation for trajectory calculation. The mathematic model for calculating the trajectory in which the measured acceleration is taken into account was built. The method was validated by the data got from the fly test and the result that includes every elements of trajectory differential equation is approximately fitted to one which is got form fly test. At last, the impact of accelerometer's precision on calculating trajectory was analyzed by simulation, to conclude that 0 g offset influences most obviously the precision of calculation.
