Abstract

Based on the performance requirements of an electric tracked vehicle, the parameters of its drive system are matched. Taking an example of a 14-ton electric tracked vehicle, the parameters of the motor and the reducer are determined by analyzing the power requests on the conditions of both straightaway and steering. The designed parts are tested both on the test-bench and on a prototype vehicle. The test results indicate that the selected parameters basically meet the needs of the performance indexes of the vehicle and that the matching analysis is correct and reasonable.
