Abstract

Aiming at the problem of datum drift and dimension error compensation of machine tool in the machining process of plate parts. This paper presents a machining error compensation method for plate parts based on in-machine measurement. The parts are measured in situ in the clamping state by machine measuring equipment; The key features were reconstructed based on the measurement results, and the parts were divided into four quadrant regions, and the scaling errors of knife points in different quadrants were compensated according to different directions. Then, the reconstructed key feature model is discretized into point cloud data model.Based on binary tree and improved iterative nearest point algorithm, the margin optimization and datum correction rotation matrix and translation vector are obtained. The accuracy and quality of the machine tool are improved by adjusting the rotation matrix and translational vector according to the procedure of compensating the error of scaling.
