Low complexity blind Phase noise estimation for CO-OFDM transmission

Abstract

A phase noise estimation method based on a blind phase search is proposed. The effectiveness of this method is verified in the 40Gbaud CO-OFDM transmission system. Compared with the original algorithm, this method can reduce the computational complexity (CC) by reducing the use of a 25% comparator without performance degradation.
