Abstract

To study initial pressure distribution of wet multidisc brake and influence of structure factors on initial pressure distribution, the FE model of initial pressure distribution was created and parametric programs were programmed. The parts structure and material were modified to meet reasonable initial pressure distribution. That the initial pressure is inversely proportional to the radius is met by modifying the support plate structure and its fixing type, the piston structure, disc thickness and lining material. The lining initial pressure is greatly affected by the support plate, piston and mated discs. The basis is provided for the structure design of the wet multidisc brake.
