Abstract

The characteristic of angular rate noise of laser semiactive seeker was analyzed by experiment method, it came to a conclusion that angular rate noise was white noise. The model of proportional navigation guidance system was built and simplified. The analytic solution of simplified model was obtained, then the system was non-dimensionalized. The simulation research on guidance system was carried out. The simulation results show that non-dimensional RMS of miss distance of system introduced by angular rate noise reaches a constant value when the non-dimensional guidance time increases, and the constant value increases with proportional navigation coefficient. The influence of delay of system on non- dimensional RMS of miss distance of system introduced by angular rate noise was studied at last. The studied result presents that non-dimensional RMS of miss distance of terminal guided projectile introduced by angular rate noise increases when the delay of system becomes larger.
