Abstract

A Ka/W dual frequency band (35 and 95 GHz) dual polarization horn antenna with low cross polarization and high isolation is proposed in this paper. The realization of the dual linearly-polarization antenna is by two orthogonal coupled feed windows in each transmission waveguide. We realize the good radiation pattern of the dual frequency band by corrugated horn, which has compact structure and easy to manufacture. In addition, the realization of high isolation between two frequency band is by adding a band-pass filter at the Ka feed waveguide. The simulation results show that the antenna has good radiation pattern, low cross polarization level and high port isolation. The cross polarization level is lower -34 dB in both frequency bands. The isolation between the two frequency bands is better than a high degree of 100 dB to limit the interference of the signals.
