Abstract

Women in Microwave (WIM) serves as a subset of Women in Engineering (WIE), specifically focusing on the field of microwave engineering. In China, WIM has organized numerous events, offering a platform for female engineers to connect, learn, and grow [1]. Each event typically sees around 40 participants, including engineers and students from various institutions. Four years ago, the authors had the privilege of attending the WIE session at the Conference on Numerical Electromagnetic and Multiphysics Modeling and Optimization (NEMO) 2020. It showed the powerful presence of women in engineering and inspired the authors to keep moving forward. Therefore, the authors were delighted to chair and assist in organizing the WIM session during the 2024 China Microwave Week.
