Abstract

Studies the chemical constituents of the fermentation liquid from marine bacteria bacillus marinus (No.Z3-l). The compounds were isolated by column chromatography on silica gel, Sephadex LH-20 and recrystallization. Their structures were determined on the basis of physico-chemical properties and spectroscopic methods such as 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR. Eight compounds separately were identified as cyclo-(Gly-Pro) dipeptide, cyclo-(Ala-Pro) dipeptide, cyclo-(Leu-Pro) dipeptide, 4-hydroxy-1-oxy-pyridine, uracil, thymine, β-sitosterol and urea. These compounds were obtained from bacillus marinus for the first time.
