N2 - Inverse scattering imaging faces serious ill-posedness due to the limited available scattered field data. To improve the ill-posedness of the inverse problems, a cost function for processing multifrequency data is defined, and the multifrequency scattered field data is jointly processed to solve the inversion imaging of frequency-independent dielectric targets. The modified born approximation (MBA) is adopted as an imaging method because it can image targets with high contrast without iteration. Finally, numerical results indicate that compared to inversion results using single-frequency data, using dual-frequency scattered field data not only reduces reconstruction error but also improves imaging resolution.
