Abstract

To efficiently search the service which meets the user requirements and realizes the exact matching with requesting service from published cloud services, an intelligent service searching and matching method for cloud manufacturing service based on formal description of cloud manufacturing services was proposed. This method included two parts: according to types and status information, a preliminary set of candidate services was obtained by filtering the published services rapidly; through functional and non-functional property matching between published and requested services, the service with maximum matching degree for cloud manufacturing from candidate services collection was selected. Case analysis and comparative study demonstrated that the proposed cloud service matching approach was feasible and effective. It could not only realize efficient service searching and matching, but also have significance for promoting the development and application of cloud manufacturing.
