Abstract

Self-adaptive camouflage skin found in chameleon provide survival protection in the presence of predators, offering inspiration for intelligent security module of future transportation vehicles facing adversarial radar detection scenarios. This work presents a real-time self-adaptive electromagnetic wave suppressor module system that operates within a frequency band of 3.39 GHz to 4.34 GHz. In a hypothetical radar surveillance scenario, an electro detector senses the frequency of the scanning electromagnetic wave, triggering a control logic that adjusts the absorber's properties to match the detected frequency. Reflectivity measurement results demonstrate that this self-adaptive wave suppressor system can automatically respond to incoming electromagnetic waves with arbitrarily preset frequencies within the specified frequency band. This electromagnetic wave suppressor system has significant application value for transportation carriers operating in threatening environments, including vessels, vehicles, and aircraft. Furthermore, this scene-material interaction module offers insights into the predator-prey interaction mechanisms found in nature.
