N2 - Intelligent hardware will drive people into smart life, becoming the new innovative direction of Internet. However, user acceptance levels of intelligent products are not high in the market, because these products lack relevance and have large distances from industrialization. This paper studies somatosensory interaction modalities of intelligent hardware, aims to improve user acceptance of intelligent hardware. By observing common behaviors of 12 designers in the design process, summary the basic process of somatosensory interactive prototyping .By designing a smart music player, find related factors that influence the performance of somatosensory interaction of intelligent hardware. Experiment is for evaluating usability of the intelligent hardware in order to improve future products. The results of this paper summarize the somatosensory interactive features and design principles of intelligent hardware, and provide theoretical and practical foundation for intelligent hardware development.
