Abstract

Electro-mechanical transmission is a feasible method of driving heavy vehicles electrically, and the integrated control strategy is one of the key problems for performance index. The power-split-based transmission scheme and the power split and couple characteristic of the planet couple device is analyzed. Based on the scheme analysis and parameter matching of researched EMT system, the integrated control strategy aimed fuel economy is proposed, which is including the partition of control mode, the energy managing strategy, the control method of dynamic process and so on. The test bench is designed and developed and the test is carried out on the bench. The bench test results of gearshift performance maximum velocity, driving cycle and so on indicate that: the designed system scheme and matching parameters can meet the vehicle driving requirement, the developed EMT integrated control strategy can realize the functions of gear shifting, driving on the maximum velocity, driving on the ordinary driving condition and so on, and the performance requirement is achieved. The designed bench test system operates normally and reliably, and meets the test requirement of EMT system.
