Improved design and simulated analysis of fuel cell car prototype

Abstract

Aiming at the LN2000 fuel cell (FC) car, this article mainly gives the improved design schemes and some simulated analysis results based on relative experimental data. There were some defects in the original FC car's motor control system, FC engine system, integrated control strategy and safety consideration. The prototype schemes perfected these aspects as indicated above, including match design of battery-energy management system, choice of battery and controller, design of drive assembly system which adopted a two-ratio planetary gear transmission and AC motor control system to improve the FC car's acceleration performance and fuel consumption, design of FC engine and auxiliary system which adopted air-compressor and highly integrated FCE system, and analysis of integrated control strategy. This made it possible that the FC car got definite improvement in system performance, control optimization and safety control. This article elaborates these schemes above and detailed results of calculation and simulated analysis based on relative experimental data.
