Abstract
To reduce the evil influence of the window effect to discrete Fourier transform (DFT) spectrum analysis, interpolation equations of generalized cosine window function with different K are derived. Aimed at a DFT spectrum for pulse radar signal, an improved Sinc window function adapted to engineering applications is deduced. Simulation showed that window effects can be reduced and correction algorithm with interpolation can be simplified through selecting optimal window functions.
