Abstract

An image fusion method is presented to give a natural daytime color appearance fusion image in a simple way. Instead of using the traditional non-linear color transfer fusion method, the proposed method uses linear space and constant parameters to reduce the compute time and example images' influence on the fusion result. Through analyzed the impact of changes of the example images' means and variances on fusion results, the paper obtained the disciplines to set suitable parameters for color transfer processing. The experimental results showed that this method can greatly improve the real-time performance while not decrease the natural daytime color appearance and image's colorfulness.
