Abstract

A new anamorphic fractional Fourier transform lens designed by transformation optics is proposed for image encryption. Because of its complicated anamorphic patterns, the image can be encrypted with stronger security compared to the normal fractional Fourier transform based systems. Additionally, the proposed lens is more convenient and flexible than the traditional anamorphic fractional Fourier transform based systems, because it consists of only one gradient refractive index lens. The numerical simulations demonstrated and verified the effects of the proposed lens.
