High range resolution extracted method for moving targets based on parameter estimation

Abstract

The characteristic of moving target frequency response under the high resolution is analysed. A model is presented to describe the high resolution echo. A new parameter estimation method is presented based on the extended Kalman filter. The estimated parameters include the high resolution range character and velocity information, so that the moving target HRR can be obtained without movement compensation.
