Abstract

The geosynchronous and geostationary SAR concepts are known in literature since long, yet significant progresses have done in recent years. Nowadays such missions are very close to maturity, to expect realization in the medium term. In this paper, we present the state of the art in the two different concepts, and compare them face to face as for systems, orbits, imaging performance and intended applications.
