Abstract

In order to save energy consumption of hydraulic excavators, a power-sensitive energy-saving control system is proposed, after an analysis on the traditional speed-sensitive energy-saving control strategy. Pump-engine power matching is realized using the T-S fuzzy proportion-integral-differential control algorithm, and the fuzzy rules are optimized according to artificial intelligent simulation. This improves the dynamic response characteristics of the control system. Experimental results of the two energy-saving control systems showed that the power-sensitive energy-saving control strategy can save more than 20 percent in energy consumption compared with the speed-sensitive energy-saving control.
