Abstract

Aiming at the characteristic that redundancy and shift-invariance of wavelet frame can reserve detail information of image preferably, the approach that combine discrete wavelet frame of with the cross band pixel selection was proposed and applied to integrate infrared and visible images. The result shows that the method preserves image detail perfectly. It is feasible and effective.
