Abstract

Synchronization problem is a crucial problem for bistatic SAR (BiSAR). In this paper, a generalized signal model is constructed and this model is employed to deduce the origin of time and frequency synchronization error. Through the mathematical relation between frequency and time, coupling of frequency and time is discovered. According to the conclusion, it is also found that time synchronization error is independent with operation frequency while phase synchronization error is directly related with radar frequency.
