Abstract
the magnetic navigation system has been widely used for the minimally invasive interventions. The four cylinder Halbach array was introduced into the magnetic navigation system to decrease the high cost. A small model was manufactured and measured. The experiment results indicated that the orientation of magnetic field could be precisely controled by rotating the magnetization direction of the four cylinder magnets.
