Abstract

The rigid-flexible coupling system dynamics method was applied, the key parts and components such as the frame and undercarriage were regarded as the flexible bodies and were merged into the multi-body dynamics model of vehicular missile launching system with improved Craig-Bampton method. The dynamic model of flexible multibody systems was established and simulation was performed during launching. The dynamic characteristics of missile attitude parameter and launching system were obtained, and the results were compared with that of the rigid model. The results show that rigid-flexible multi-body coupling model is very close to actual launch situation of missile. It provides a theoretical foundation for investigating dynamic characteristics and analysing the initial disturbance accurately during the launching process of a vehicular missile.
