Abstract

A flaw inspection method for image tube is introduced based on threshold segmentation of image and morphological filter of mathematical morphology. The algorithm realized automatic flaw inspection of image tube through filtering the binary image by morphological filter, after processed by threshold segmentation. The result inspected by image processing is the same with eyes. The results of experiments proved the efficiency of the proposed approach in practical applications.
