Abstract

The influence of different widths of elements of linear phased array ultrasonic transducer on focusing is studied. Through the multiphysics coupling analysis module of ANSYS, the resonance of linear phased array ultrasonic transducer is analyzed. The finite element model is validated by time-delay focusing. The rule of elements' width's influence on strain of resonance is presented. A basis is given as how to choose the width of elements, so as to improve the testing ability of transducer effectively.
