Abstract

Quantization technology for multiple channels is crucial in the microwave synthetic aperture radiometer. Traditional quantization technology applies analog digital convertors (ADC) with synchronous logics, which owns excellent performance while costs too much resource, and cannot adapt to special applications like satellites or aircraft. Asynchronous quantization can simplify the system and reduce the resource cost by large degree, which makes the microwave aperture radiometer more feasible in practice. This paper focuses on the difference of synchronous quantization and asynchronous quantization, studies the feasibility of introducing asynchronous quantization to the digital correlation system in theory, and then uses the matlab to build a model and make simulation to verify the theory validity.
