Abstract

In order to improve the seismic wave energy, the methods of far-field seismometry and near-field pressure measurement were applied to test and evaluate the stimulation effects of seismic wave generated by various components of explosion source, including the AN/TNT/AL (ATL) explosive and RDX/AL (JHL) explosive and other five explosives without aluminum powder, under the same geological condition. The single-shot records show that, while maintaining the same signal to noise ratio, the action effects generated by aluminium explosives are better than that by non-aluminium explosives, and ATLs are better than JHLs. Compared with non-aluminium explosives, seismic wave energy produced by aluminized explosives could be raised at different time region, and the energy produced by ATL gains the highest value. The test results of stress wave pressure in soil at near-field show that the stress wave peak pressure produced by ATL is 78.76% higher than that by TNT (56.21 kPa). In addition, the effects of the output structure of energy in soil on the seismic wave energy are also analyzed.
