Abstract

According to the vehicle intake and exhaust conditions, the thermal load and the operating condition test, the plateau environmental adaptability of armored vehicle power system was analyzed. The test result shows that, moving the matching of engine and turbocharger to the low speed area would be beneficial to the intake air compensation at the vehicle acceleration and start; Thermal load would restrict vehicle gear shifting, resulting in the reduction of vehicle average speed; Moreover, exhaust temperature should be used as the key parameter to monitor and control armored vehicle power system.
