Abstract

In this paper, the expansion process, which is driven by the explosion of the powerful explosive, of the thin pipes made from two kinds of material (Bainite steel and 50SiMnVB) is observed by the high-speed stripe-camera and impulse x-ray camera. The results show the advantage of the B steel as a kind of new material to shell warhead.
