Abstract

In order to achieve the dynamic loading of concrete specimens, an explosive loading device based on the communication of wave is designed from the perspective of simple and easy to implement. This device uses explosion directly to drive the flyer that devised cone shape to achieve similar plane loading for specimens. In order to obtain useful test signals, a variety of complex factors must be considered during explosion environment. The results of experiment show that the ideal flatness of flyer is in the diameter 100 mm. Experimental curve of low carbon steel is correct and effective, which proves the device can meet the requirements of the dynamic loading experiment, and the design is feasible.
