Abstract

The non-normal penetration into reinforced concrete by gas guns was studied in the present paper. High velocity camera and mirrors in front of the target are used to record the information about the projectile. The destructive effect, depth, crater diameter and ballistic trajectory of oblique penetration were obtained from the tests. It reaches the conclusion that deflexion of the projectile increases with the in crease of the obliquity angle, while the penetration depth decreases. The effect of reinforcement in oblique penetration tests has been analyzed.
