Abstract

Experimental results of the explosion effects of Fuel Air Explosive (FAE) in four kinds of device structures are studied. The experimental results have shown that even distribution of the FAE cloud is the most important factor affecting explosion for the single event FAE. The explosion actions of high explosives which are not located in centers of the devices will make the FAE cloud unevenly distributed around the central axis of the devices, so that the explosion effects become worsened. Charge of high explosive in the central axis of the device is favorable to improvements in the explosion effects of single event FAE.
