Abstract

As a result of different optical observation windows with different structure and parameters, the potency of incident light back along the original way is varied. In order to evaluate this characteristic objectively, the index to measure the "Cat's Eye" effect in typical optical observation window-Rc is proposed with the mathematical model and the main irtfluencing factors. Using a quantitative analysis method for valuing the Rc indicators of the "Cat's Eye" effect in typical optical observation windows quantitatively. The results show that the increase of the diameter of the lens, the high reflectivity of reflection components and the transmits suavity of the optical systems are in direct proportion to the Rc index of the "Cat's eye" effect while the wavelength of the light source in inverse proportion to it.
